Are you pistol optics curious? Do you have one and don’t know how to use it? Do you want to move out of the 16th century and embrace technology?
Intro to Pistol Mounted Optics caters to those that have bought a PMO equipped handgun, or those that are exploring the option.
- If you have vision issues, PMO’s might be the solution
- Learn how to effectively present the PMO equipped handgun
- Learn how to achieve a Target Focus vision
- Learn about the different types, brands, and mounting solutions for PMO’s
- Try out different handgun and PMO combinations
Loaner guns available include Glock, Sig, 1911, Taurus Tx22C, M&P 2.0
Loaner Optics include Leupold Delta Point Pro, Various Holosun optics, Trijicon RMR, and more
Required Equipment:
- Quality handgun and three magazines
- 250 rounds of ammunition for your handgun
- Hearing and eye protection (Electronic hearing protection recommended)
- Proper Range attire with closed toed shoes and a high neck shirt
Optional Equipment:
- PMO equipped Handgun
- Holster fit to your handgun (no SERPA, Nylon, or soft leather holsters)
- Quality belt for your holster
Previous handgun training and experience in safe gun handling is required. Students will be allowed to use holsters in class if they can demonstrate safe and proper holster procedures.
