AR-15 101- 5/6/2022

AR-15 101 is a followup course to the Intro to Ar-15.  This is a mechanics based course that builds off of the essentials learned in intro classes. The objective of AR-15 101 is to enhance the student’s understanding of the mechanics and operation of the AR-15 while helping to develop the student’s marksmanship and accuracy skills.  Topics and skills covered will be:

Proper loading of the gun

Proper mounting of the gun from different positions

Reloading the gun

Malfunctions

Reading sights/optics

Zeroing and zeroing procedure

Sling Management

Required equipment:

AR-15 (Loaners are available upon request prior to class)

150 rounds of ammo for your gun (Available to purchase at Shore Galleries prior to class)

three magazines

Sling (available for purchase at Shore Galleries prior to class)

Our intro class or similar experience is a perquisite to enroll. If you are not an alumni you must provide proof of training.
