DESCRIPTION:This course requires vetting by the instructor\, if you are unsure if you qualify please contact us.  If you register for this course and are unknown to us\, we will contact you for confirmation.   If you are not approved your tuition will be refunded in full at the end of the process.  Please read entire course description below before enrolling.  \nBullets and Bandages is a 2-day (16 hours) class designed to provide the end-user with the basic\nknowledge necessary to “be the difference” in a life-threatening trauma situation and to work through various problems one may encounter in a use-of-force scenario. \nOn day 1\, the student will learn basic human anatomy and physiology\, injuries to the various systems of the body and how best to treat them as well as medical kit training\, mass casualty principles and 911 communication. The day will end with various hands-on practical applications. \nOn day 2\, the student will be on the range where they will go through different training evolutions\ndesigned to prepare them for single-hand firearms manipulation as well as tourniquet applications and rapid trauma assessments. \nThe time chooses you. Will you be ready? \nDURATION:\n2 DAYS \nFIREARM:\nPISTOL WITH AT LEAST 3 FUNCTIONAL MAGAZINES (6 IF SHOOTING SINGLE-STACK PISTOL) \nOTHER EQUIPMENT:\nHOLSTER\, MAGAZINE POUCHES\, MEDICAL KIT\, WRAPAROUND EYE PROTECTION\, HEARING PROTECTION\, WATER\, SUNSCREEN\, NOTEPAD/PEN\, HAT\, INCLEMENT WEATHER GEAR (AS NEEDED) \nAMMUNITION REQUIREMENTS:\n400 ROUNDS MINIMUM \nPRICE:\n$550/person \nNOTE: THIS IS AN INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED SKILL LEVEL CLASS. STUDENT MUST HAVE COMPLETED\nAT LEAST 103 LEVEL CLASSES WITH COMPLETION OF 104 LEVEL CLASSES HIGHLY ADVISED. \nRange fee of $25/day ($50 total) will be collected on TD1\, please have cash ready.
