DESCRIPTION:This is a 2hr open range session where we will run drills\, allowing you to practice and test your skills that you normally couldn’t on a public range.  Though this is not a formal class\, coaching will occur where necessary as it pertains to each drill.  Previous formal training is required as this is not meant for first time shooters.  You will need to be comfortable with gun safety\, operation of your gun\, and use of a holster if you plan on drawing the gun from one. \nStudents will need: \n150 rounds of ammo at minimum \n3 mags \nA safe holster that allows for one handed use \nRange appropriate safety gear including eye and ear protection \nRange/ weather appropriate clothing. \n

SUMMARY:Holster Skills
DESCRIPTION:This holster skills clinic.  You must have some basic safety training\, NRA pistol\, IL ccw\, etc… We will cover aspects of holster work from square 1\, no prior holster skill required.  This session will take place on an open range\, which means on a firing line\, no stalls\, and hot.  Get live fire reps in under the supervision of an instructor and go beyond what you can normally do on a public range.  A large variety of rental firearms and holsters are available with advance notice.  Students will need 200 rounds of ammo\, eye and ear protection and appropriate range attire.

DESCRIPTION:Performance on demand is going to focus on the mental and physical process of pressing the trigger.  This clinic is all range time\, all slow fire\, and all on B-8 targets between 10 and 25 yards.This will be a primer on achieving excellence and absolute accountability and accuracy.    The objective of this course is to get the student to understand the process of moving the trigger without moving the gun and how that process can change at various distances.  This is not a beginner course; You should have a good understanding of the fundamentals of shooting and be able to operate from the holster safely. \nRequired equipment:\nHearing and eye protection; electronic hearing protection recommended. \nHolster of quality manufacture; no Serpa style\, floppy leather\, belly bands\, or soft sided nylon holsters allowed \nnote taking materials \nSharpie or equivalent permanent marker for scoring targets \n
