DESCRIPTION:This holster skills clinic.  You must have some basic safety training\, NRA pistol\, IL ccw\, etc… We will cover aspects of holster work from square 1\, no prior holster skill required.  This session will take place on a open range\, which means on a firing line\, no stalls\, and hot.  Get live fire reps in under the supervision of an instructor and go beyond what you can normally do on a public range.  A large variety of rental firearms and holsters are available with advance notice.  Students will need 200rds of ammo\, eye and ear protection and appropriate range attire.

DESCRIPTION:Civilian Response to Every Day Emergencies \nWhether you’re a parent or a gunfighter\, the need for medical skills is more useful than most gun classes out there.  The skills in this course are with you even when you don’t have your gun on you.  Learn how to deal with some of the most common medical emergencies you may encounter.  Don’t neglect a vital area when it comes to protecting your family. \nThis course will provide American Heart Association CPR and First Aid\, as well as TECC Civilian First Care Provider.  The TECC portion includes trauma care for gun shot wounds and other significant trauma….Tourniquets\, wound packing\, chest seals etc.  All medical gear for training will be provided.  If you have medical gear that you would like evaluated feel free to bring it along.  This course is appropriate for mature children.

SUMMARY:Force on Force- So You Think You Can Carry
DESCRIPTION:So You Think You Can Carry! An intro to decision making under stress  \nDo you carry a firearm for self-defense? Have you ever thought about what might happen if you have to use it?  \nSo You Think You Can Carry! is a six hour scenario based course designed to expose the concealed carrier to the responsibility of decision-making during a high stress\, shooter situation. The focus of the class is not on shooting\, but rather on decision making. The goal is to guide the responsible concealed carrier through the decision-making process before\, during and after a violent encounter involving a firearm.  \nThis class is a force on force experience where the student will participate in four different instructor-led scenarios. These scenarios will consist of common situations that a concealed carrier might encounter in their everyday lives. Students will utilize simulated pistols that fire 6mm plastic projectiles. These projectiles allow for realistic simulation of gunshots in a safe learning environment. All force on force equipment is provided by us. In addition to the scenarios\, students will also learn about use of force law\, contact with the authorities\, post engagement\, and a brief medical demonstration.  \nTo maintain a safe training environment no real weapons (guns\, ammo\, knives\, or any other weapon) will be allowed in the building. All students will be subject to inspection for weapons or potentially dangerous items before being allowed into the training area. Flashlights that do not have sharp teeth or heads are allowed and encouraged. Students will need to wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. Gloves are optional but recommended. Face and eye protection are provided by us but students can use their own pending approval by the instructors. \n\n\n\n\nThe size of the class is limited to 8 students to make sure everyone gets quality instruction and feedback.  This is a hosted class.
