SUMMARY:Force on Force- So You Think You Can Carry
DESCRIPTION:So You Think You Can Carry! An intro to decision making under stress  \nDo you carry a firearm for self-defense? Have you ever thought about what might happen if you have to use it?  \nSo You Think You Can Carry! is a six hour scenario based course designed to expose the concealed carrier to the responsibility of decision-making during a high stress\, shooter situation. The focus of the class is not on shooting\, but rather on decision making. The goal is to guide the responsible concealed carrier through the decision-making process before\, during and after a violent encounter involving a firearm.  \nThis class is a force on force experience where the student will participate in four different instructor-led scenarios. These scenarios will consist of common situations that a concealed carrier might encounter in their everyday lives. Students will utilize simulated pistols that fire 6mm plastic projectiles. These projectiles allow for realistic simulation of gunshots in a safe learning environment. All force on force equipment is provided by us. In addition to the scenarios\, students will also learn about use of force law\, contact with the authorities\, post engagement\, and a brief medical demonstration.  \nTo maintain a safe training environment no real weapons (guns\, ammo\, knives\, or any other weapon) will be allowed in the building. All students will be subject to inspection for weapons or potentially dangerous items before being allowed into the training area. Flashlights that do not have sharp teeth or heads are allowed and encouraged. Students will need to wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. Gloves are optional but recommended. Face and eye protection are provided by us but students can use their own pending approval by the instructors. \n\n\n\n\nThe size of the class is limited to 12 students to make sure everyone gets quality instruction and feedback.  **LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED by Archetype of the Gun**
